To apply for NOC from CGWA

NEER provides turnkey Consultancy Services for getting No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA)/ Haryana Water Resources Authority (HWRA)/ Uttar Pradesh Ground Water Department(UPGWD) and other State Ground Water Authority which ever is applicable for Industry/ Infrastructure/ Mining projects.

It also provides guidance for documentation, applicable guidelines in accordance to categorization of  location of the Industry/ Infrastructure project, technical reports and online followup to obtain NOC from CGWA and other State Authorities.

In compliance with the direction of Hon’ble NGT the CGWA has issued its new guidelines vide notification No. 3289(E) dt: 24.Sep.2020 .

In accordance with the guidelines every Project Proponent (Industrial/ Infrastructure/ Mining projects) who so ever is drawing Ground Water has to mandatorily obtain permission from CGWA/ State Ground Water Authority whichever is applicable.

 The complete Application procedure for obtaining NOC is as follows:

• 1. Registration on State specific portal.
  2. Document Verification /Consolidation.
  3. Application submission.
  4. Regular Status updates and Query submission.
  5. Approval of NOC from Concerned Department.
  6. Generation of Ground Water Abstraction Charges as per Guidelines.
  7. Final issuance of NOC after payment of Abstraction Charges as per Guidelines.
