CENTRAL GROUND WATER AUTHORITY (CGWA)
Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) was constituted under sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, for the regulation and control of groundwater development and management in the country. It is constituted to regulate and control, manage and development of groundwater in the country and issue necessary regulatory directions for the purpose.
