HARYANA WATER RESOURCES AUTHORITY (HWRA)

The Haryana Water Resources (Conservation, Regulation and Management) Authority has been constituted under The Haryana Water Resources (Conservation, Management and Regulation) Act 2020. The Authority must achieve a sustainable water resources regimen with short-term and long-term perspectives. The Authority exercises jurisdiction in the State of Haryana over Ground Water and Surface Water, further committing to judicious, equitable, and efficient use of water.

Objectives of HWRA :

To enact an appropriate law to provide for protecting, conserving, controlling, and regulating the usage of water in the State so that the water regimen becomes sustainable both quantitatively and qualitatively, especially in stressed areas.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3925″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
